• John Holt Engineering: the unit specializes in the sales and maintainance of large power genersating sets. The exclusive distributors for FG Wilson, John Holt Engineering assembles, stocks and services generators from 12.5KVA to 2200kVA. The generators are manufactured by FG Wilson (Engineering) Ltd, Northern Ireland Uk in factories that are ISO 9001 certified;

• STARTEK: this is the operational leasing division of the Group established in early 1980’s to provide professional lease and financing arrangements, to enable organisations meet their equipment and machinery needs. Airconditioners and other equipments, generators and other operational equipments used by most corporate organisations are lease packaged by Startek;

• FIRE PROTECTION UNIT: this unit executes the franchise of the Group to distribute Angus Fire and Rosenbauer fire fighting equipment in Nigeria. The unit provides adjunct services such as surveys, installations, servicing and maintenance.

This unit is a dominant player in the distribution of a wide range of consumer and light industrial goods.

• JOHN HOLT VENTURES: a Major distributor of local and imported products, has a very wide distribution network. John Holt Ventures undertakes Merchandising and Redistribution depot Services (MDRS). This service frees manufactures and importers from the problems associated with distribution and inventory administration;

• JOHN HOLT LOGISTICS SERVICES: this unit is involved in sea and air freighting of goods, clearing & forwarding, warehousing and ship agency. It has extensive warehousing facilities, cargo handling equipment and specialized handling gear. Its freight specialists advise exporters and importers on road haulage, customs tariffs warehousing packaging, port facilities.

• YAMACO sell and services in Nigeria portable Yamaha petrol & diesel generators from 1kVA to 20kVA, motorcycles, Yamaha outboard motors, waterpumps & engines and Almarine boats. It also provides efficient after sales and spare parts back up. Yamaha products have, efficient and reliable-qualities, which have made them popular and in constant demand nationwide;

• ALMARINE is the pioneering leader in the construction of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) boats in Nigeria. John Holt’s interest in boat building arose from the desire to engage in unique manufacturing enterprises and to contribute to the development of a host of activities associated with marine technology, fishing, transportation, defence and leisure. For many years, Almarine was engaged in the importation of boats and Yamaha Outboard Engines;

• MARINE LEASING (HLM) was set up to offer lease and hire packages for our world class light marine vessels built by Almarine which are being used in the oil industry. We offer our very successful and reliable Almarine A30PD CREW BOAT which is already being used by SHELL, CHEVRON, MOBIL etc. In addition, we also offer Air Cushioned Vessels (ACVs) also called Hovercrafts which are capable of making trips into very difficult terrains which boats would ordinarily not enter. We have since moved into Heavy marine vessels used in offshore oil prospecting ventures;

• GROUP HEAD OFFICE: is responsible for the management of the Group’s portfolio and properties across the country, central purchasing functions, insurance, finance, information technologies, human resource development, legal and statutory matters;

• FABRICATION UNIT: specializes in the fabrication of industrial and agricultural equipment as well as vehicle components and storage tanks;

• ASSEMBLIES: the unit specializes in assembly of generating sets, air-conditioners, gas cookers and motorcycles. The Assembly plants were built with technical assistance from our technical partners overseas.
