John Holt Plc assembles in Nigeria:
YMNL (former Yamaha Manufacturing Nigeria Limited) is a member of Motorcycle Manufacturers Association of Nigeria. The assembly plant built in 1980 with technical assistance from Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. Japan is located at John Holt Plc Oregun Complex, Lagos. The factory has installed production capacity of 120,000 unit’s double shift.

Currently, YMNL assembles Yamaha CruxS 110, YBR125, XV250P and XJ900P models of motorcycles. Yamaha motorcycles are noted for their ruggedness, fuel efficiency, balance and maneuverability which make their use for quick dispatches, urban traffic controls, programme monitoring and evaluation easy. They are also used for commercial transportation outside leisure.
